There are artists whose lives seem to follow a straight line. And there are others whose story is built from journeys, unexpected encounters, and decisions made purely by intuition. Krishna Black Eagle belongs to this latter category.

Born in Paris to an American father of African American and Cherokee descent and a Danish mother, he grew up between Europe and the United States, experiencing some of the most vibrant music scenes of the 20th century. He saw Jimi Hendrix live three times, attended one of the first concerts of Led Zeppelin’s first tour, toured with Sensory System—one of Denmark’s first hard rock bands—alongside Nazareth and Slade, participated in the New York funk explosion, and ultimately found a second artistic home in Argentina.

Over more than five decades, he built a unique career, blending rock, blues, soul, funk, and the Cherokee cultural heritage that influenced much of his more recent work. In this pursuit, Argentina played a central role thanks to his encounter with producer Nelson Pombal, a key partner in a creative period that includes albums such as Cherokee Soul , Cherokee Shaman , The Myth of Cherokee Sun , Black Cherokee Legend , Run With Me , and the upcoming Cherokee Rock , due for release on July 24th.
